And yet more pictures, from various times
over the last week. Other significant events include being discharged by the
midwife, meeting the Health Visitor, and having his 10 day checkup at the
Doctors. As of Sunday 17th, Nick weighed 9lb 5oz, and had put on another
1/2oz by the time the HV weighed him on Wednesday. Everyone is happy with
Nick's progress...

They've let Liz and Nick home... The Paediatrician is happy with Nick, so
we've got a clean bill of health

Nicholas James Lockhart born 8th March at 23:02. Weighed in at 8lb 15.5oz.
Mum, Dad and baby all well, but tired! An almost natural birth, just had a bit
of Pethedine at the end of first stage of labour. Pictures

I've escaped to the carpark for a quick spod, so here's an update...
We came into hospital about lunchtime, got monitored and they broke the waters at 2:15pm. We've just been waiting since then, and they keep sending us out for a wander around the hospital. They're going to give it an hour or 2 longer before thinking about putting a drip in. As Liz is starting to get more labour pains, hopefully we won't need it, but we'll just have to wait and see...

Cool, they've got a spare bed now, so we're heading into hospital. Unless
things take forever, and I pop out for a break, the next news will be the
announcement of the birth...

We're just waiting for a bed to become available in delivery suite. They've
told us to ring back at midday to see what the situation is. Apparently they
had a couple of intensive care patients in this morning, which meant they were
too busy to deal with an inducement.

Liz is due to be induced tomorrow, Friday, 8th March, so we expect to be parents
by the end of the day! As soon as possible after the birth, I'll
update this page with the news (and hopefully some photos!)
